Why must I be so cruel?

Sorry I haven't posted much lately. I've been much too busy crushing the fondest hopes of my children. It's a precision job and takes up a good chunk of time.

But I'm pretty good at it. As evidenced above.

Not too worry, though. Hopefully tomorrow, I'll get back to being awesome.

Destroyed any dreams lately?

  1. Ah, sweetie! That picture reminds me of when I used to crush your fondest hopes and dreams. It is gratifying to see it carry over into the next generation. I imagine generations down through time with children lying hopeless on kitchen floors and think that I might have played some small part in dashing their dreams, too.

  2. I'm glad that in the midst of Grace's tantrum, you did what any good mother would do: pick up the camera.

That could be a way to snap them out of it!

And give that girl what she wants, okay?

  3. Yes, Dad--your legacy is a proud one, and lives in me today!

Beck, I couldn't help but take a few pics! And here is what she wanted to do that day, in no particular order:
    1. To lick the trashcan.
    2. To crawl into the fridge.
    3. To crawl into the dishwasher.
    4. To hold the pizza cutter.

    Rosemary--thanks! ;)
