And now please to with the making of the education!
I noticed the writing on a box of one of Ava's toys...
I'm not sure that tiny beads are the best thing for babies to play with, no matter how roundly it will educate them. And what is "innoxious'? I bet I can be innoxious sometimes.
I gotta say, though, their English is loads better than my Mandarin.
This will be added to the family archive of wisdom from the East. You doubtless remember the classic embossment on Hank's knight's shield: "The simulated protective device was not safety device and offered no protection."
I am from the American South and now I live in Australia with my family. Jason and I have 3 kids, Ava, Nate, and our little Grace. We moved here in 2005 to help start a church and became the pastors in 2007. This blog is about what happens when people STOP being nice and START being real. (Not really. I stole that line from "The Real World".) This blog is about a stranger living in a strange land, trying to do some good, and raising kids. Also, there is some drinking tea and eating Tim Tams. Life is good.
Yep, your right there, your Mandarin is embarrassingly shocking!
ReplyDeleteMy my, the babies are so dumb and need such improving!
ReplyDeleteI am, like you, not sure that's such a great toy.

ReplyDeletehe he he, I recognise that box:)
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of a nail salon in down town college park that was called Oh, Nail! I couldn't help but laugh every time I walked by.
ReplyDeleteHA! This reminds me of the stationery I used to get as a kid when a relative would visit from South Korea.
ReplyDelete"I'm happiness in my morning rainbow."
"Two smiles help my heartbroke wound."
I laugh every time I drive by "Decent Nails"... I mean, who doesn't want a decent polish job? :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, you've definitely got some ESL action happening there. I hate to be overly innoxious, but I'd check for lead content if I were you.
